Week 8: post 2

   My business of being a social media consultant does not primary rely on visual support. There are many other businesses similar to mine where it would need to have visuals. When researching other social media companies and their use of visuals this is what I found. I used Instagram to find other social media agencies and they have a lot of followers and with hardly any likes. They also receive hardly any comments and its consistent through out each post.
   The reason that these types of social medias are not effective for some businesses are because there is no need. If you are not selling a physical product but are selling a service it can be hard to come up with post ideas. This can lead to very little amount of quality posts that lead to little followings. What those companies can do is only post when there is something quality to post and try to keep quality over quantity.
   Here are some of the accounts I looked at on Instagram. The first one is @social_media_agency. The others are @socialmediastrategist_ , @social_media_market, @social.media.marketing.guru

                                         Week 8: Post 1

   So when it comes to the visual networks my business does not necessarily rely on them. The reason for this is because my business which is being a social media consultant, and there is no need to post pictures or videos. Since i'm not selling a product there is nothing to sell except the business itself. These forms of social media can be very time consuming and take lots of effort. So if I had to choose the type of visual network for my business it would be Instagram.
   The things that I would post on my visual network would be promotional things. And I would post pictures of various social media platforms that we can help you in. This would inform people and reach out to people who use this platform for social media. It would reach a larger audience of people who need help on growing their social media following. This will also lets people interact with our business and write feedback.

                                                                   Week 7: Post 2

   My activity ahead will be staying active and liking other peoples post and commenting. The reason for staying active will let people know that you care about other people. And what my future posts will look like is showing activity happening with the business. To connect with people I will need to stay active on their posts.

I liked several social media consulting pages on Facebook. The reason for this is to connect with similar business and get useful ideas from them to see what is working.For Instance if they are getting more business than my page I can find out why. 

                                                          Week 6: Post 1

   The difference between post reach and post engagement is that post reach measures the amount of traffic you are getting to your posts. Post engagement measures all post clicks,likes,shares, and comments. Knowing the difference is important because it can help you see the specific areas you need to grow in to gain more publicity to your site. To gain more traffic to your Facebook page you can add more of what you lack, and get useful feedback from people who visit your website whether it be positive or negative. Facebook insights help you see who visits your page like certain demographics, and can help you track the overall performance.

   My target market for being a social media consultant would be the sandwich generation. This accounts for men and women around the ages of 30-50. The reason for this is because the lack of knowledge and guidance for using social media especially for business. This group of people can be any kind of ethnicity or education trying to build a following on social media mainly for business. 

                                                               
                                                              Week 5: Post 1

   Comparing the first two websites about diapers there wasn't to much different except a couple things. The first is noticeable thing was how the diaper company Econobum try to appeal to the customer through Ethical practices. They talked about all the things that they used to ensure their product was environmentally friendly. While the other product just cheap diapers try to appeal to moms through reaching a common ground. They talked about there struggle with diapers and the experience they had as a mom. But both websites seemed to have low prices with great quality.
   When looking at both of these restaurants it became clear the difference. When delivering food Teri cafe has more of a family appeal and offers a home meal kinda feel. Compared to Chili's which offers casual dining style. The kind of food the each offer is different Teri's offers Japanese dishes. While Chili's has a Tex-Mex-style of cuisine. Chili's mission is to offer fresh food and make people feel special. Teri's cafe wants to offer you a quick service at a reasonable price. Both of these restaurants offer quality food it just depends on how much time you have and the amount of money you want to spend.
